Historic are  vehicles  that are 20 yrs or older that has not been altered, remodeled, or manufactured.  We also have another category  which is 25 yrs or older that has been substantially altered from the manufacturer’s original design, and finally, we  have vehicles that are 60 yrs or older that has not been altered or remodeled from its original design. These vehicles may not be used for general daily transportation or any commercial transportation of passengers or driven on a highway. 

Attention: As from October 1st, 2016 Historic Vehicles from 1986 and later  MUST  submit Maryland Safety Inspection if the vehicle to be driven daily.

What to bring with you to register a Historic or Street Rod Vehicle:

1.  Title– Properly signed by the Seller & Buyer

2.  Fill out Form VR-096 (Application for Historic or Street Rod) (Note: This form will be given to you here to sign, & date)

3.  Fill out  “Application for Title & Registration” ( This is found on the back of the Title)

4.  Dealer Bill of Sale (if Purchased from the Dealer or Enter price if purchased from an      Individual)

5.  Lien Release if any

6.  Insurance Coverage

7. Driver’s License

 

Dealer Historic Registration

You Must have the following:

1.  Title– Properly signed by the Seller & Buyer

2. Dealer Assignment

3.  Dealer Bill of Sale 

4. Odometer Disclosure

5.  Fill out Form VR-096 (Application for Historic or Street Rod) (Note: This form will be       given to you here to sign, & date)

6. Maryland Safety Inspection-Required

7.  Lien Release if any

8.  Insurance Coverage

9. Driver’s License

 

Motorcycle Historic or Street Rod Registration
